Christmas time is the time to bake a ton of cookies, strictly for Santa of course! This classic recipe is always a hit, soft, tender cookies with the hard M&M’s running through it is a match made in heaven.

Peanut Butter M&M Cookies

Yields: 30 cookies, 24 without M&M’s added


1/2 cup of butter, softened

1 cup of peanut butter

1/4 cup of granulated sugar

3/4 cup of brown sugar

1 egg

1 tablespoon of vanilla extract

1 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of baking soda

1 1/2 cups of flour

6 ounces of M&M’s


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a stand mixer cream together butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.


Add in the egg and vanilla extract and allow to mix together.


In a separate bowl prepare dry ingredients by combining flour, baking soda, and salt.


Add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients one cup at a time, scraping the sides as needed and allow to come together fully.


Fold in the M&M’s.


Take a tablespoon of dough, roll into a ball and place on to baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake 8-10 minutes.
