Ever since I first made this recipe about three years ago, it has been a fairly constant supper request in my house and for a good reason too! This chicken has a definite kick, mixed with the right amount of sweetness, and is so tender. Tonight we are having this with brown rice (New Year Resolutions). The wide range of spices also allow for any vegetable to play nice with this chicken.

Spicy Honey Baked Chicken

2 Chicken breasts (I used 5 chicken tenders)

1/3 cup of honey

1 Tbsp of olive oil

2 Tbsp of sriracha

4 cloves of garlic

1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes

1/2 tsp of dehydrated onion flakes

1 tsp of black pepper

1/4 tsp of meat tenderizer seasoning

Place all ingredients in a large zipper bag and allow to marinate for at least two hours

Preheat oven to 375. Prep a baking dish by lining with tin foil and a small drizzle of olive oil, place chicken in prepared dish and bake for 20-30 minutes depending on size of breasts or tenders. After they are fully done, I turn the broiler on high for 3-5 minutes so the sugars can crystalize and the edges become a little crispy.
