If you are an iPhone user like me you know that sometimes Apple can be amazing and inventive. Other times they can be a giant pain in the ass, their inventive tendencies cause some of the most complicated ways to do basic functions. Not to mention every once in a while things happen with my phone that I cannot explain. All of a sudden my screen will zoom in and zoom out: I didn’t even know that was possible!
Another thing that has been really difficult for me is working the Mail app that is linked to my Yahoo account. If you are anything like me you will understand when I say that I get thousands of emails a day and 99% of it is complete nonsense. Promotional offers from stores, spam and junk mail flood my inbox daily. Which is why it was so frustrating to have to individually delete every single email that I received every day. It took me so long to figure out how to delete my entire inbox that I’m actually not going to disclose an actual amount of time. But now that I know I want to share it with the whole world. In my eyes if I have helped one person figure out how to organize a little chaos, that is good enough for me.

Step 1. Open the Mail app and go to your inbox.

Step 2. Tap the edit button in the top right corner of the screen.

Step 3. Select the first message in your inbox.

Step 4. Hold onto the move button on the bottom center of your screen.

Step 5. While holding the move button deselect the first message.

Step 6. Release the move button.

Step 7. Select the trash folder.

It might not delete all of the messages at the same time if you have thousands upon thousands of built-up emails but it will delete quite a few of them at once.
